At the California Association for the Education of Young Children Annual Conference, the Leadership Day keynote made a strong argument for the future of education: to develop individual differences and unique abilities rather than serving the median. Several talks referenced executive functioning skills and mental health in early childhood. The UCLA Extension talk went really well (Roca and Davis)! On Consulting a speech therapist: Neurological processes in language development to create language-based curricula.
